Sculpted Stories was born in the Dandenong Ranges, from a simple thought: life moves ridiculously fast, and wouldn't it be nice if we could bottle up a little bit of it?

Children grow. Bodies change. Tiny hands become not-so-tiny hands, and those pregnancy bumps we spent months growing somehow become a distant memory (usually around the time we're trying to remember what life was like before them).

Life doesn't sit still, but some moments deserve a little more than a spot in your camera roll.

Using modern 3D scanning and sculpture, I turn these beautiful, wonderfully ordinary and extraordinary moments into something you can hold, display and treasure for years to come.

Because life is too precious, bodies are pretty incredible, and every story deserves to be remembered.

Except this isn't another photo you'll scroll past 47 times, or a keepsake that'll end up in the back of a cupboard. It's a little piece of real life, captured in three dimensions.

The shape of your bump. The body you've worked so hard to build. The tiny human who won't stay tiny for long.

No two bodies are the same, and no two stories are either. That's the beauty of it.

Sculpted Stories is about celebrating the moments that make us who we are, and giving them a permanent place in our lives (and on our shelves).

It's also a little reminder that our bodies aren't projects that need fixing. They're part of our story, and they deserve to be celebrated through every season of life.

Hi, I'm Kara!

Mum to Ralph and Ziggy, wife to Ollie, and personal assistant to two dogs, Tony and Carmela (Soprano), who are yet to acknowledge my authority.

After 15 years in the corporate world, I was craving something creative, something meaningful, and something that felt a little more me. So, Sculpted Stories was born.

I'm a big believer in body confidence, finding your own version of a glow-up and feeling bloody good in your own skin. Not because you need to look a certain way, fit into a particular size or get your old body back, but because you deserve to feel strong, confident and at home in yourself.

For me, that might look like a Pilates class, a weights session or simply making time for myself amongst the beautiful chaos of motherhood (a quiet moment with a cuppa, tim tam and doom scrolling anyone?!). It's about nourishing yourself, moving in ways that feel good and remembering that you're a person outside of all the hats you wear.

And outside of the body confidence chats? I'm very easily won over by a good coffee, tea or matcha, a day festival, tattoo chats, a bottomless brunch with my girlfriends and any excuse to get dressed up and have a good time.

Sculpted Stories brings together all the things I love: creativity, connection, celebrating women and having a good old chat. Whether we're capturing your pregnancy bump, celebrating your postpartum body or documenting a fitness milestone, my goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident and completely yourself.

There'll be plenty of guidance, absolutely no judgement, and probably a fair bit of yapping from me.

Because this isn't just about making a sculpture. It's about celebrating you, your body and the story it tells - exactly as you are, while you're becoming whoever you're growing into next.
